Health eProfile — Consumer-Directed Health Data Access, Aggregation & Control
Health eProfile, developed by Health eServices, Inc., is a FHIR R4-based personal health record (PHR) aggregation platform built to advance the CARIN Alliance's vision: giving consumers and their caregivers the ability to easily get, use, and share their digital health information — when, where, and how they want it.
Health eProfile enables patients and consumers to consolidate their complete health picture in one secure, unified digital hub. Using non-proprietary, open APIs built on FHIR R4 and SMART on FHIR standards, the platform can retrieve and upload patient-authorized records from participating electronic health record (EHR) systems — including Epic — as well as Medicare claims data via CMS Blue Button 2.0. Users can also connect wearable devices and health apps such as Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Withings, WHOOP, and Oura, creating a truly longitudinal health record that spans clinical, claims, and wellness data.
Once consolidated, users have full visibility into their health data across key categories including vital signs, medications, lab results, diagnoses, immunizations, allergies, clinical observations, office visit records, mental health data, and device-generated biometrics. Anonymized AI-powered personal health summaries help translate raw records into meaningful, actionable insights — putting users in control of their own health narrative without submitting their data for LLM training.
Health eProfile is built on a foundation of explicit, granular, and revocable user consent. No data is shared or exchanged without the user's direct, informed authorization at every step. For users who choose to participate, Health eProfile connects to Health eService's Health eBroker marketplace — a consent-first platform where consumers can optionally and anonymously contribute their de-identified health data to medical research, pharmaceutical studies, and public health initiatives, and receive direct financial compensation for doing so. All transactions are recorded on Health eLedger, an immutable blockchain layer that provides verifiable consent trails and full audit transparency.
Health eProfile is HIPAA-aligned, committed to the CARIN Code of Conduct principles, and designed with consumer trust as its foundation. The platform offers a free tier for core PHR access, with basic and premium subscription options that unlock expanded integrations, AI health insights, and enhanced data portability tools.
Health eProfile is available via web, iOS and Android applications. Access is direct — no provider or health plan affiliation is required to get started.
Health eProfile represents a new standard for consumer-directed health information access: open standards, transparent consent, and the belief that your health data belongs to you.

My Health Application is being managed by the CARIN Alliance, which is a multi-sector alliance led by distinguished risk-bearing providers, health plans, pharmaceutical companies, consumer platform companies, health IT companies, third-party applications, and consumer-advocates working collaboratively with other stakeholders in government to overcome barriers in advancing consumer-directed exchange across the U.S.
The CARIN Alliance manages only this website; the CARIN Alliance does not endorse, certify, or manage any of the applications listed on this site. You should make your own judgment as to the application that is best for you based on information provided by the application vendors.
The vision of the CARIN Alliance is to rapidly advance the ability for consumers and their authorized caregivers to easily get, use, and share their digital health information when, where, and how they want to achieve their goals. Specifically, we are promoting the ability for consumers and their authorized caregivers to gain digital access to their health information via non-proprietary application programming interfaces or APIs.
We envision a future where any consumer can choose any application to retrieve both their complete health record and their complete coverage information from any provider or health plan in the country in a secure manner while protecting their privacy and individual consent sharing preferences. This website helps to advance the ability for consumers to access an application of their choice based on their own individual data sharing preferences.
The CARIN Code of Conduct is a set of industry-leading best practices that the companies offering these applications have voluntarily adopted to protect and secure your health information. We strongly recommend that you read the application’s privacy policies and terms and conditions to ensure that you select an application that you feel would protect and secure your health data in a way that is consistent with your individual data sharing preferences.

These applications came from the CMS Blue Button 2.0 site, EHR application vendor websites, CARIN Alliance members, and other public sources. Right now, the only thing that the CARIN Alliance has done is list the websites. Our initial goal is to focus on transparency and making sure the individual selecting an application knows where to go to find an application. We are also trying to make each application’s privacy policies and terms of service more readily available to the individual. Over time, we want to provide more consumer-friendly ways to help individuals understand how these applications are using their data.
